The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revealed the majority of hospitals in the country not to encourage breast-feeding infants who put a higher risk ofchildhood obesity, diabetes and other conditions.
U.S. health officials said only a third of hospitals have “rooming in” policy, which allows children to the hospital room with her mother 24 hours a day, which can increase breast-feeding opportunities. Agency said nearly 75 percent of hospitals do not provide adequate support for mothers when they leave, including follow-up visits and phone calls.
The center hopes that hospitals can chance their policies on breastfeeding to ensure that American children can grow healthier and disease. It may be mentioned that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breast-feeding infants until six months and continuedbreastfeeding for at least a year.
CDC Director, Thomas Frieden, said that 15 percent of mothers now breast-feed exclusively for six months. “We are very far from where we should be,” said Frieden. Luc Frieden said the failure to promote breastfeeding in the health system costs U.S. $ 2.2 billion per year.
“If breastfeeding is stopped too soon, babies are at increased risk of obesity, diabetes, respiratory and ear infections and sudden infant death” CDC.
“Breastfeeding is a lot,” Luc Frieden said. “It’s perfect for feeding a baby,” he said.
Internet data showed that breast milk-derived antibodies is very important that rose to child. The child can not make their own antibodies until around six months. “Studies have shown that children who are breastfed for at least nine months, 30 percent less likely to be overweight compared to children who were never breastfed.
Breastfeeding is the feeding of babies and young children with breast milk directly from human breast woman instead of a bottle or other container.

Human milk is the healthiest form of milk for babies.
There are some exceptions when the mother takes certain drugs or infected with human T-lymphotropic virus, HIV, or who were actively treated tuberculosis.Breastfeeding promotes health and prevents disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) highlight the value of breastfeeding for mothers and children. Both recommend exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life, and then completed breastfeeding for at least one year and up to two years or more.
