As ‘Agneepath’, one of the most anticipated films of the year hit the theatres on 26th January; it has taken box office by the storm. Upbeat with the overwhelming response, Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt, film’s lead actors reached a film theatre in Mumbai’s Juhu to spice up the post-release promotion. Fans were elated to find the actors amongst them and cheered for them. Sanjay Dutt who played the antagonist Kancha Cheena in the film thanked all the fans for liking the film. ,” It was very challenging for me to play this character”, added Sanjay.
Actor Hrithik Roshan expressed his gratitude to all and sundry to make the film a success. He thanked every- one associated with the film to making it a success. Hrithik, however, clarified that he can’t compete with Amitabh Bachchan, the Bollywood legend that played the protagonist in the original ‘Agneepath’, which inspired this remake.
Notably the remake is produced by renowned Bollywood filmmaker and producer Karan Johar, whose father produced the original ‘Agneepath’ in year 1990 which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa.
